Hurricane Rachel

We are shocked and saddened by all the devastation caused in Baja over the weekend from Hurricane Rachel.

As we have done many times before, we are coming together in hope to support the many communities we know and love through this difficult time. Our staff have already begun assessing the needs, and Baja Missions will be providing roofing materials, meals and food sets as disaster relief will be under way for many weeks.

The Maneadero church has begun working nonstop with help from other congregations to reach out and support the community.

On October 15, they set up a mobile kitchen and served 150 meals and later the teens took out and served oatmeal and sandwiches they made to another area. They have been able to purchase and give out food sets too.

In San Quintin, brother Rafa and others have already been able to build back a house for a family and the other churches in the area have also begun purchasing supplies too.

We appreciate all the prayers and quick responses to this disaster.
