Concord Road Church from Brentwood, TN took their 5th trip to support the Colonet church this summer. They love building on relationships and introducing to new members of their churches to each other every time they get to be together. They love visiting throughout the community and singing songs and giving out food sets, toys and dresses as they go. They host classes every night at the church and enjoy many wonderful meals together and often keep busy with building projects

The Monrovia groups theme for the week was "faith over fear" and they brought amazing shirts for all the kids as a reminder! The group hosted VBS for the kids, Bible classes for adults and did a medical and dental clinic at Papalote and Santa Maria churches offering glasses too. Meals and fellowship abounded with the churches and clinic visitors! Praise God for this wonderful week!

West Dyersberg Church of Christ from Tennessee also worked with the Zapata church in June. They hosted a medical and dental clinic and supported the church with Bible classes, fellowship and construction projects. They even got to celebrate a birthday in Mexico too! Thanks to this group for all their hard work for the Zapata community. We Give God the Glory!

In June, the well experienced team from Vaughn Park church in Montgomery, Alabama spent the week in Baja supporting the church in La Misión led by Miguel and Maria Chavero. They jumped into work right away, painting the inside of the church building, building and painting new bathroom walls, and replacing old tile throughout. They also spent time bringing breakfast and dental supplies to local students, helping run a dental clinic, cooking lunch for field workers and communit

Campbell Street Church from Jackson, TN plans an action packed weekend with the El Zorrillo church every year. This year they built a house, hosted VBS, visited the local preschool and visited the Cañon Buena Vista orphanage in partnership with His Table by the Sea. They played soccer, brought snacks and paletas and blessed the all-girls home with some basic needs restocking their medicine cabinets and hygiene products. The Alvaton mission team spent another meaningful week serving alongside the Zapata Church this year from June 6-11. They encouraged the church through evangelism to the community, service projects and church fellowship. Throughout the week, team members participated in home visits, construction projects, preparing meals, Vacation Bible School, teen classes, and daily worship gatherings. The Brentwood Hills Mission team kicked off Baja Missions 2026 Summer Groups serving alongside the Papalote church community where they sponsor as a congregation. From the moment they arrived, the team immersed themselves in ministry opportunities that included bilingual worship services, fellowship activities for children, teens, and adults, prayer gatherings, and evening classes designed to strengthen and encourage the church family. Smithville Church of Christ from Tennessee supports the Zapata Church of Christ in Baja. This March they brought a group to serve the community with free medical and dental care. They provided VBS, classes, meals and fellowship with the church also. We appreciate all the efforts each one made to come and the many that supported their trip too. We are excited to share that the first ever overnight men’s conference took place at Camp Baja on March 16 and 17. The theme was “how to be a man on God” and they learned about growing faith, character and and purpose. Baja Missions was blessed to have the Baja Med Team back from Lipscomb University. This group consisted of 6 wonderful ladies- 3 students and 3 providers. Together they served the Zorrillo church through home visits and clinic services the first 3 days. They also did a one day serving at the Guadalupe Clinic and drove further south to Vicente Guerrero to serve the sweet kids from Oasis After School Program. Each year the American group leaders and Baja ministers, staff and Bible students gather together to reflect on the year and pray and plan for the one to come. The Brentwood Hills Church brought a youth group trip for the first time to work with their partner congregation in Papalote. During their long weekend trip in October, they made home visits and prayed with local families, played with the kids at the local elementary schools and did work projects at Camp Baja and encouraged the residents at Casa Amor Senior Living.
