The Brentwood Hills Mission team kicked off Baja Missions 2026 Summer Groups serving alongside the Papalote church community where they sponsor as a congregation. From the moment they arrived, the team immersed themselves in ministry opportunities that included bilingual worship services, fellowship activities for children, teens, and adults, prayer gatherings, and evening classes designed to strengthen and encourage the church family.
Throughout the week, team members participated in a wide variety of outreach and service projects throughout the Papalote community. Medical and dental ministries provided care for local residents with Clinica Amor por Baja at the church building, while construction and home improvement projects helped meet tangible needs. Team members also visited homes, spent time with families, served children through games and activities, connected with students at a local school and after-school program, and painted a church member's house. These efforts allowed the team to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways while working side-by-side with church members and community leaders.
One thing they hosted this year was a Special Olympics for the kids that attend the Special Needs Program at Camp Baja and for the elderly residents at Casa Amor.
You can see by the photos all the love that was shared through hugs and smiles. We rejoice in getting to celebrate 3 baptisms during the week. God is great and we give Him the glory for this wonderful week!
