Vaughn Park Visits La Misión

In June, the well experienced team from Vaughn Park church in Montgomery, Alabama spent the week in Baja supporting the church in La Misión led by Miguel and Maria Chavero.

They jumped into work right away, painting the inside of the church building, building and painting new bathroom walls, and replacing old tile throughout.

They also spent time bringing breakfast and dental supplies to local students, helping run a dental clinic, cooking lunch for field workers and community workers, and visiting a church member recovering from a broken hip.

By the end of the week, they also took the preacher's family and clinic workers out to dinner, hoping to leave them encouraged after all they pour into that community!
